Collectable Eggs "Midsummer" series (1999)

Two corresponding pedestal weights (Daffodil and Orchid, with additional engraving) have been sold by Nadine Bläsche (paperweights24) - images below by her kind permission to be used on Scotlandsglass (the Orchid images have reached me via Sophie Boyron - thank you to her as well): click on images for larger views.

The weights are hollow and signed "Caithness Scotland" on the underside of the pedestal.
Dimensions (Orchid) are: Height: 12 cm / Width: 8 cm / Weight: 1.4 kg

The Studio Collection had been established in 1992. In 1998 several vases and bowls were issued (in addition to the above Midsummer Collection).
Limited editions: Tsarina (Franco Toffolo), Sentinels of Summer, Humming Bird (both Helen MacDonald).
Unlimited editions: Labyrinth (Philip Chaplain), Renaissance (Alastair MacIntosh), Poppy Collection (Colin Terris).
Midsummer Collection was amongst the unlimited editions - but obviously was made in small numbers only.
